How To Change Degrees To Radians Or Vice Versa
An angle measurement based on radian size is based on the assumption that:
"one radian = the magnitude of the center corner of a circle bounded by a circular arc equal in length to the radius"
If OA and OB are radius = r and arc AB is also the length r then ∠AOB is 1 radian. Generally we already know that 1 turn = 360º and the circumference of the circle k = 2πr, then based on the comparison formula on the circle is valid:
So the way to change degrees to radians is essentially based on the radian equation with the following degrees:
3.14 radians = 180º
1 radian = 57.3º
