2. Determinant of the Three Order Matrices

There are many ways that can be used to calculate the determinant of matrices with 3 x 3 orders, but the most widely used is by using sarrus rules. With the steps as follows:
  • Put the first and second columns to the right of the vertical line of the determinant.
  • The number of times the elements located on the main diagonal with the product times the elements that are parallel to the main diagonal in the right direction, then subtracted by the product times the elements lying parallel to the side diagonal.
