Multiplication Rules Of Probability In Math
In mathematics there are two kinds of Multiplication Rules, among them are:
1. Place Filling Rules
The filling rule in this opportunity multiplication rule is a multiplication opportunity operation by placing the opportunities in line with all the possibilities that will occur.
In everyday life we often hear the term all the possibilities that occur in an experiment. For example, a student whenever a repeat value is always ugly, then is there a chance that the student is going to class? this possibility is the rule of filling place.
Example:
Pajar has 3 pieces of white, batic, and brown clothes. Pajar also has 2 different black and brown pants. How many pairs of clothes and pants can be worn with different pairs ???
Answer:
So the number of pairs of clothes and pants in turn is as much as 3 x 2 = 6 ways.
2. Factorial Notation
The factorial is the number of times the consecutive natural number from 1 to n. Keep in mind that for every n natural number, is defined:
n! = 1 x 2 x 3 x ... x (n - 2) x (n - 1) x n, and "n!" read factorial. In essence this factorial notation is part of the rule of multiplication in Probability.
Example :
6! = ??
Answer :
6! = 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 720
