Probability Of An Event

The event is a subset of the sample space, whereas the sample point is any possible outcome in an experiment. If A is an event occurring in an experiment with a sample space S, where each sampling point has the same probability to appear, then the probability of an event A can be written as follows:

The Probability Formula of An Event

Information :
P (A) = Opportunity occurrence A
n (A) = Number of members A
n (S) = Number of members S

An Example of The Probability of An Event

On throwing 3 coins at once, Please determine the chances of the appearance of the three sides of the picture!

Answer:
S = {AAA, AAG, AGA, GAA, AGG, GAG, GGA, GGG}
Then n(S) = 8
For example the third incident side of the image is A, so :
A = {GGG} so n(A) = 1
