The Relationship Of Two Lines

The two graded lines m1 and m2 are said to be parallel if m1 = m2 and perpendicular if m1 x m2 = -1

Example:
From some of the line equations below, which are parallel and intersect perpendicular!

Answer:

I and II are parallel because the gradient is the same, that is m = -2
I and III, IV and V intersect perpendicular, because of mI. mIII = -1 and mIV. mV = -1.
