3 Data Sizes In Statistics
1. Data Centralization
The size of data centering is any size that shows the center of a data. The size of data centering that is usually used in the science of statistics there are 3 kinds, among which are:
1.1 Mean
The mean is or the calculated average is a measure of data concentration that can be determined by summing all the data and then dividing the summed data by the number of data as a whole.1.2 Median
Median is the mean value of a particular data. The middle value can be searched provided that the data must be in a sorted state. Median can be determined by finding the middle value of data. For example there are data 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. So certainly the median is 3 because 3 is the middle value of the data.1.3 Mode
The mode in statistics is the data of the most muncil. So what if from a set of data such as 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, and 3, then the mode is 2 because the 2 most values appear in the data.
2. Data Location Size
The location of the data is a measure of the data that shows where the data is located on a data that has been sorted. The size of the data that is usually studied in the science of statistics there are 4 kinds, among which are:
2.1 Median
Median is the mean value of a particular data. The middle value can be searched provided that the data must be in a sorted state. Median can be determined by finding the middle value of data. For example there are data 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. So certainly the median is 3 because 3 is the middle value of the data.2.2 Quartiles
Quartiles are the numbers used to divide a set of data into four parts. Quartiles there are 3 kinds of quartiles bottom, middle quartile, and top quartile.2.3 Decil
A decile is a number used to divide a set of data into 10 sections.2.4 Percentiles
The percentile is the number used to divide the set of data into 100 parts.
3. Data Distribution Size
The size of the data dissemination is a data measure that shows how much the data values deviate from the average. There are four kinds of data dissemination in statistics commonly used, among which are:
3.1 Range
Range is the difference between highest and lowest data.
Average deviation is a measure that states how big the spread of each data value to its mean value.
3.2 Average deviation
3.3 Variance
Variant is the average of the sum of squares of each data deviation.
3.4 Standard deviation
Standard deviation is the root value of a variance.
