Angle Measurement In Math

Definition of Angle

Angles are areas bounded by two segments of lines and dots. To measure the angle is usually used with the Arc.

The angle above is given the angle a or ∠ ABC. To determine the magnitude of the angle is usually expressed by degrees (º) or radians.

Broadly speaking, the magnitude of an angle occurs into three parts, including:
  1. The pointed corner is an angle of less than 90º.
  2. Angle-angled angle that is the angle of magnitude 90º.
  3. Blunt corner is an angle greater than 90º.

How to measure the magnitude of the angle with the arc

to measure the angle by using the arc can be done in the following way:

  1. Put the angle attached with the 0º line on the bow to one of the segments to be measured at the angle.
  2. Place the center point of the arc at the vertex and the other segment is located inside the bus.
  3. Measure a large angle using a scale on the bow.
